After the excitement of the 2018/19 season, Chorley FC is opening their doors once again to families for a Family Fun Day this Bank Holiday Monday. There will be lots do for kids (and adults) of all ages from laser tag, inflatable games, sumo suits, fairground games and much much more, in fact, we estimate also all the pitch will be covered in games for everyone to enjoy.
Victor “flies like a bird” Magpie will be on hand, not only to say hello and pose for pictures, but he’ll also be trying to repeat the heroics of Matt Urwin as he tries to save your penalties. What do you reckon? Can you Beat Victor?
Tickets only cost £5, or £15 for a family of four and once you’re in, you’re all. Almost everything is free, with a couple of paid fairground games should you fancy your chances. There will also be food, ice-cream and other refreshments available at a reasonable cost.
Darren Jenkinson, Chorley FC Community Foundation Chair, said: “The last year has been a roller coaster which ended on a massive high for every fan of Chorley FC. To be honest, we didn’t want to season to end. Our Family Fun Day is a great way to come and spend another day at Victory Park, enjoy the wide range of activities and games we will be putting on, and take advantage of the last Bank Holiday until August.
“Chorley FC is a community club, and running events like this are key to the work we do as a Community Foundation. The money raised from the day will be used to support activities such as coaching in schools, Walking Football for the Over 50’s and many other projects which we hope to deliver over the next 12 months”
attractions will include:
Adult Bouncy Castle
Beat Victor Magpie
Guide Dogs for the Blind
A visit from Chorley’s Mayor

The Family Fun Day takes place at Victory Park on Monday 27th May 11am-4pm and will raise money to support Chorley FC Community Foundation. Tickets are available online at https://chorleyfunday.eventbrite.co.uk/ or from the Club Shop. Please check the shop’s opening times before heading down.
