Chorley FC Community Coaches

Andy Preece

Andy Preece leads on Chorley FC Community Foundation’s work with schools in the Chorley area. An experienced player who lists Crystal Palace, Northampton Town, Wrexham, Stockport County, Blackpool and Bury among the teams he played up-front for. 

Andy’s managerial career began in 1999 as player/manager for Bury, before spending time in Worcester City, Northwich Victoria and Southport before heading to Chorley FC in 2018. 

Now Assistant Manager at Chorley FC, Andy is also a regular coach at our Soccer Schools. 



Jonothan Gains

Jonothan “Jono” Gains leads on Chorley FC Community Foundation’s Walking Football Initiative. 

Courtney Meppen-Walter 

Courtney first appeared at Victory Park towards the end of the 2015/2016 campaign, before signing on for a second stint in June 2018. Courtney is a real presence in defence or mid-field with a hammer of a left foot. 

Courtney’s previous teams have included Manchester City, Carlisle United, Ashton United, Stockport County and Glossop North End. A firm favourite with the Chorley FC fans, Courtney is a regular coach at our Soccer Schools and in-school workshops.
